Hammond Named Deputy Minority Leader of Illinois House
Following the election of Rep. Tony McCombie (R-Savanna) as the House Republican Leader for the upcoming 103rd Illinois General Assembly, Rep. Norine Hammond (R-Macomb) has been chosen to serve as Deputy Republican Leader.
In a statement, Leader-Elect McCombie praised Representative Hammond's leadership, dedicated service, and commonsense approach to governing, calling her an outstanding choice for her leadership team. She expressed her enthusiasm to work with Hammond to address the issues facing Illinois families and improve the state's economy while ending the culture of corruption in Springfield.
Hammond Seated in 103rd General Assembly
